Product Description

Products Details

Titanium material is popular in industrial materials because it has a service life of 5-8 times that of ordinary stainless steel under the same working conditions, but its density is only 60% of that of steel, which significantly reduces the dead weight of the equipment, and it is also resistant to extreme environments, and it can withstand temperatures in the range of -196℃ to 600℃.

Application

The different grades of titanium wide plate for application:

Grade 1 (GR1): Basic industrial pure titanium material; Excellent corrosion resistance; Medium strength (≥ 240MPa). Suitable for chemical equipment manufacturing.

Grade 2 (GR2): High purity industrial titanium (purity ≥99.6%); Perfect balance of corrosion resistance, strength (≥345MPa) and workability. Applied in Shipbuilding, petrochemical equipment and electronics.

Grade 7 (GR7): Enhanced palladium alloy; 300% higher corrosion resistance to reducing acids. Suitable for strong acid environments (pH 1-3) in the chemical industry.

Grade 12 (GR12): Molybdenum Nickel Reinforced; Tensile Strength ≥483MPa; Seawater Corrosion Resistance is 10 times that of stainless steel. Ideal for offshore oil platforms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Why choose titanium over stainless steel for industrial use?
Titanium offers a service life 5-8 times longer than stainless steel under similar conditions, with only 60% of the density. It also withstands extreme temperatures from -196℃ to 600℃.
Q2: What is the difference between Grade 1 and Grade 2 titanium?
Grade 1 is the most ductile and softest grade with excellent corrosion resistance. Grade 2 is widely used for its balanced strength, ductility, and weldability.
Q3: Do your products comply with international standards?
Yes, all products undergo 100% inspection and strictly comply with the ASTM B265 international standard for titanium and titanium alloy materials.
Q4: What kind of testing do you perform before shipping?
We perform chemical composition analysis, tensile testing, ultrasonic testing (UT), hardness testing, and grain size rating to ensure 100% material integrity.
Q5: Can you provide custom sizes for titanium plates?
Yes, we offer professional cutting services including laser, waterjet, and plasma cutting to meet your specific width, length, and precision requirements.
Q6: What are the typical delivery times for international shipping?
Air freight takes 5-10 days, rail transport to Europe takes 12-25 days, and sea freight typically takes between 15 and 45 days depending on the destination port.
