Product Description

📦 Products Details

Seamless titanium tubes are widely used in industrial fields due to their excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and light weight.

Mainly including chemical equipment, such as heat exchangers, reactor piping; marine engineering, such as seawater desalination systems, ship components; energy industry, such as nuclear power condensate pipe, oil and gas mining high-pressure piping; automobile manufacturing high-performance exhaust system and power environmental protection, such as flue gas desulphurization equipment.

Commonly used materials such as industrial pure titanium Gr2 and titanium alloy Gr5, in the strong corrosion, high pressure and high temperature and other harsh environments can replace the stainless steel, significantly extend the service life of equipment and reduce maintenance costs.

🔬 Seamless Titanium Tubing Specific Application

1. Pure Titanium Seamless Tubing

Grade Performances Application
GR1, GR2 Good corrosion resistance, easy to fabricate and weld, relatively low strength Chemical industry and marine engineering where corrosion resistance is high but strength requirements are moderate.

2. Seamless Titanium Alloy Tubing

Grade Performances Application
Gr.7 (Ti-0.2Pd) Pd added to significantly improve corrosion resistance in primary media. Chlorine ions and other highly corrosive environments.
Gr.12 (Ti0.3Mo0.8N) Good corrosion resistance and crevice corrosion resistance. Petrochemical, desalination and areas prone to crevice corrosion.

FAQ - Titanium Tubing

What are the main advantages of seamless titanium tubes?
They offer excellent corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, and are extremely lightweight compared to stainless steel.
In which industries are titanium tubes most commonly used?
Major industries include chemical processing, marine engineering (desalination), energy (nuclear power), oil and gas mining, and automotive exhaust systems.
What is the difference between thin-walled and thick-walled titanium tubes?
Thin-walled tubes (0.5mm-1.25mm) are used for low-pressure applications where weight is critical, while thick-walled tubes (over 4.0mm) are designed for high-pressure and harsh industrial conditions.
When should I choose Grade 7 or Grade 12 titanium alloys?
Grade 7 is ideal for environments with chlorine ions due to its palladium content. Grade 12 is preferred for petrochemical and desalination applications where crevice corrosion is a concern.
What standard lengths of titanium pipes are available?
Standard lengths range from 500mm to 6000mm, with extra-long options up to 12000mm available for specific industrial installations.
Can titanium tubes replace stainless steel?
Yes, in highly corrosive, high-pressure, or high-temperature environments, titanium significantly extends equipment service life and reduces maintenance costs over stainless steel.
