2. Precision Forging: The ingot is heated to a specific "Beta" or "Alpha-Beta" transus temperature. Our 2500-ton hydraulic presses forge the material into blocks, breaking down the large crystalline structure into a fine, equiaxed grain.
3. Controlled Heat Treatment: Annealing processes are used to relieve internal stresses and optimize mechanical properties such as tensile strength and ductility.
4. Precision Machining: Blocks are milled or turned to exact customer specifications, removing the oxidized "alpha case" layer.
5. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Each block undergoes Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to detect internal voids and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) for surface cracks.
